Enclosed, you’ll find a public consultation paper discussing the proposed merger of Bedford College Academies Trust and Knowledge Schools Trust. This paper sets out the reasons and advantages of the suggested merger, offers an in-depth look at the consultation procedure, and guides you on how to share your perspectives. This consultation period commences today, 11th of October, and concludes on Wednesday 15th November.

Merger Update – 14th February 2024

Further to previous updates on our voluntary merger with Knowledge Schools Trust (KST), we have been working closely with our prospective colleagues at KST and the Department for Education’s (DfE) Regional Team on completing the merger. All aspects of the merger process are now completed, and approved, we will complete the merger on the 1st March 2024.
